Batman has been a popular superhero for decades and has been portrayed in many different ways across comic books and film.
One of the most influential interpretations of the famous vigilante from Gotham City is the 1989 Tim Burton film starring Michael Keaton as Batman and Jack Nicholson as the Joker. This iconic rendition serves as the inspiration for this reimagined cinema setting.
By reimagining this picture in the Victorian Era, the design of the film poster and accompanying props keeps the dark, brooding tone of the original film, while incorporating the colors and nostalgic
texture of the late 1800’s.
